At Selina Finance, our mission is to give people access to the wealth they have in their homes, and we’re doing that by building a next-generation digital lender – which all started with our home equity loan of credit product (HELOC). More than £2tn of equity is locked up in UK homes, yet homeowners still rely on high-interest consumer loans, credit cards, and overdrafts. We believe this needs to change. What will you be doing?

  • Define general marketing & external comms guidelines, focusing on B2B but also including B2C and employer branding

  • PR - ss scope out low-budget opportunities to shift consumer sentiment about secured loans and educate wider audiences on HELOCs through PR

  • Create compelling branded materials and content for events; Refine our distribution lists and come up with innovative ideas to engage specific audiences

  • Run marketing and training events for our key partners and brokers

  • Create business development materials for broker teams to use on field visits, working closely with other internal departments to align on content

  • Manage existing, and create new, social media accounts focusing on presence and engagement

  • Perform direct market research to understand our customers together with our product teams

Job requirements

What about you, what do you need to bring/have?

  • Previous experience in marketing or a related field in a reputable agency or high-calibre in-house marketing team

  • Experience with digital marketing, content creation, and social media management

  • Excellent written English language skills

  • Basic knowledge of SEO and SEM practices

  • Someone who is curious + hungry to build their career in marketing

  • Strong eye for design and attention to detail/ a creative mindset!


Things that would be nice for you to have (please do not let any of these points prevent you from applying):

  • Enthusiasm for financial services

  • Channel/B2B marketing experience is a plus

  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM software, email marketing platforms like MailChimp).
