What you’ll do:

  • Implement and own the quality assurance function for both lending and advisory
  • Be a key point of contact to support any queries from operations
  • Own fraud and financial crime; training, identifying and reporting
  • Own the annual mandatory training for the whole business
  • Support the on-going, risk based training and the Academy throughout the year
  • Provide support on conducting the compliance monitoring plan
  • Support financial promotional activity and the sign off process
  • When compliance problems arise, help conduct investigations to discover the root cause
  • Spearheads and helps design procedures that improve compliance across the business
  • Collaborate with all departments providing compliance insight on new projects

    Job requirements

    Requirements:

    • 1+ years' experience as a Compliance Associate
    • Experience in mortgage or secured lending
    • CeMAP desirable
    • Demonstrates an approachable, professional demeanour
    • In-depth knowledge of the industry’s standards and regulations
    • Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping
    • Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities
    • Experience in an early stage start-up environment, ideally in the FinTech/PropTech space
    • Ability to collaborate with team across the business
    • Excellent communication skills
